Brian McLean has been married for over 20 years to his amazing wife Laura and has two wonderful children, Mahala and Gabriel. He is deeply involved in his church and enjoys building and developing relationships with those in the community around him. Professionally, Brian works as a consultant at Nutanix specializing in End User Computing (EUC) and Virtualization.
Several years ago, Brian became interested in the sport of triathlon but did not fully commit until 2019. Brian’s cousin Rachel completed a full IronMan in Louisville and has been part of his motivation. He is now training and has completed a full Ironman in October 2021.
To take on the challenges associated with triathalon training, Brian has a few motivations. First, Brian has had several close friends and family members that have died too soon. He competes to remember them. He also competes in order to demonstrate his love for others as well as encouraging others to set and reach goals that may seem unreachable. He believes that it is impossible to reach a goal that has never been set.
